Tanzania is famed for its exceptional hunting and excellent trophy quality – very healthy populations of heavy-maned Lion and Leopard.  Also renowned for vast herds of Buffalo as well as large varieties of plains game, including Roan Antelope, Sable, Eland, Greater Kudu and Sitatunga. Gerenuk, Lesser Kudu and Oryx occur throughout the semi-arid North East. Masai Bushbuck, Red Duiker, Mountain Reedbuck and Suni also occur at higher altitudes.
